We have a range of excellent wines, a good selection of spirits and plenty of soft drinks so why not join us soon. Famed for real ales, the bar staff at The Ship Inn have a reputation for pulling the best pint in town.
Main Bar & Lounge
At the main bar enjoy a traditional English pub scene with a roaring fire and ancient beamed ceiling dating from the 16th century. With a comfortable dining area and choice of menus you and your friends, family or colleagues will be able to relax and unwind in comfort of the main lounge, at our bar tables, in ‘the Snug’, or by pulling up a stool at the welcoming main bar.
Bistro Bar
Our recently refurbished side bar is a light, contemporary space where you can enjoy the drink of your choice and a bite to eat from our snack menu. This bar can also be reserved for private functions.
Patio Bar
If you like sports, come and watch all the biggest events on our Sky and BT sports channels or enjoy a game of pool or darts in our Patio Bar. Here we also offer regular live entertainment and an outdoor seating area for those warm, balmy summer nights.
The Patio
For outdoor drinks and dining head outside to our large patio areas. Sit out on a sunny day or pop out to enjoy some fresh air under our rain-proof awnings. For the big sporting occasions we also erect the big screen on the patio.
